Karen Perry is the originator of Event Journal, Inc. Her combined marketing expertise and innovative leadership skills led to the development of the proprietary Event Journal system—an interactive, paperless journal solution for the fundraising community. Ms. Perry’s experience includes positions at several leading New York ad agencies, where she provided strategic planning and account management to Fortune 100 clients. She has worked in both publishing and broadcast television where she spearheaded numerous multimedia and web development initiatives. In addition, Ms. Perry’s training in Social Work as given her an inside perspective to the needs and workings of not-for-profit organizations. For the past 25 years, she has been active in the community and has served on numerous committees and boards. Her background, creativity and entrepreneurial drive enabled her to create the revolutionary Event Journal system. Ms. Perry received her Master’s Degree in Social Work (M.S.W) from Adelphi University in Long Island, New York and her B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University College of Communications.
