Karen Perry, President
Karen Perry, founder of Event Journal, Inc. has combined marketing expertise and innovative leadership skills to develop the Event Journal system – an interactive, paperless journal solution for the fundraising community.
Ms. Perry’s experience includes positions at several of New York’s top ad agencies, providing strategic planning and account management to Fortune 500 companies. She has worked in the publishing and television industries and has spearheaded numerous multi-media and web development initiatives.
Ms. Perry’s training in Social Work and professional positions she has held in the field give her an inside perspective to the needs and workings of not-for-profit organizations. For the past 25 years, she has been active in the community and has served on numerous committees and boards.
Her strong background, together with her creativity and entrepreneurial drive, enabled her to create the Event Journal system and bring it to market as a revolutionary new concept for fundraising events.
Ms. Perry received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University in Long Island, NY and her undergraduate degree in advertising from The Pennsylvania State University College of Communications.
Elayne Morga, Director of Production Services
Elayne Morga is the force that brings creativity and production management to the Event Journal process. She directs a team of talented graphic artists, web developers, technicians and copywriters who deliver outstanding results to Event Journal clients.
Ms. Morga’s professional background in the graphics and printing industries is extensive and varied. She was responsible for the production of hundreds of printed fundraising journals, giving her first-hand experience in this specialty. She is uniquely qualified to lead the innovative improvements that the Event Journal system brings to the field.
